This international school in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to start in August 2022.

Vacancy Requirements:

A qualified Occupational Therapist with a recognised degree i.e. hold the relevant Bachelor or Masters equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience;

Proven record of being an effective Occupational Therapist providing assessment and intervention to children with a range of needs;

Excellent interpersonal skills;

A positive and student-centered individual;

Evidence of continuous professional development;

Creative and innovative therapy methods;

Sensitivity to the needs of children and parents of different ethnic, cultural, language and educational backgrounds;

Possession of effective work strategies including flexibility, good organisation skills, time management, and ability to work independently and prioritise multiple work tasks.

This newly opened international school in Abu Dhabi stands in beautiful and spacious grounds in a prime location between the Cultural and Beach Districts of Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi.

The school is expected to grow considerably over the next few years. Class sizes will be restricted to an average of 18 per class. Although the school could cater for well over two thousand pupils at capacity, the target roll is 1500.

The school will have separate Junior and Senior Schools with first class resources including science labs; two music schools; three libraries; a large sports arena, with separate gymnasiums and a dance studio; two swimming pools; extensive playgrounds and two grass pitches; a 650 seater theatre; Astroturf pitch and four tennis courts; a recital Hall and lecture theatre with 100 seats and up to four boarding houses – within Phase 2 (2017) and 3 (2019) developments.

The school follows the British National Curriculum.
